Another project commenced on site with Castlemead to build 19 apartments for Wales & West Housing. Datrys involvement included attaining SAB approval S104, S185 & S278 agreements for the development.
Work has started on our 30-unit scheme for Adra, having been appointed by Williams Homes for planning input and detailed design. Datrys obtained S104 and S185 approvals for the development as well as S38 and SAB approvals.

Datrys has been working closely with Williams Homes on numerous housing developments including Harlech where 20 units are under construction for Grwp Cynefin. At Guilsfield where 28 units for Clwyd Alyn are being constructed, with Datrys providing construction support where necessary having undertaken full detailed design. As well as 41 house development at Penrhyndeaudraeth for Clwyd Alyn and Grwp Cynefin.
Datrys staff Social last Friday at Underground Golf in Zip World Blaenau Ffestiniog followed by a great meal at Y Stablau in Betws y Coed. A great time had by all.
Menai Retail Park, Bangor – resurfacing of the 5000m2 car park has been completed with Datrys providing Project Management and supervision for FPG Group.

We have recently completed a particularly interesting 6-week coast protection project on the Llyn peninsula. The privately owned seawall fronted a sea-side property in Nefyn. A large hole suddenly appeared in front of the property and Datrys arranged the emergency stabilisation work to safeguard the house. We are delighted to have moved into our two new office units at Doc Fictoria, Caernarfon which we see as being a fitting environment for what we do. It is a vibrant, modern area, especially with the recent expansion of Galeri. We’ve been busy over the last few months with a variety of projects. It’s welcome news that Housing and Regeneration Minister Rebecca Evans plans on reviewing Wales’ affordable housing provision. The review is intended to analyse the potential for increasing match funding as well as examining how partnerships between LAs and Housing Associations are currently working in practice.
