Llangefni Bridge
Summary
Datrys were commissioned to design a replacement bridge with abutments for the Isle of Anglesey County Council to allow employees and visitors safer access between both car parks at the council offices in Llangefni.
The bridge had a 15m span over a watercourse and was constructed alongside the existing bridge so that access could be maintained.
Datrys designed a steel bowstring truss bridge with curved spindles to achieve the distinct look.
